Guest guest
Did anyone have lots of pain in your knee before you had your THP surgery? If so, did it go away after your surgery? My doctor said it was referral pain. I sure hope so because I would hate to face a TKP.So far no knee pain for me.
Guest guest
You are right. I remember that same problem with my knee. My hip was so out of alignment that it put pressure on one side of my knee more than the other. I tried a knee brace, that helped stabilize my knee but made my hip hurt more. It became a trade....Lets see, today do I want to have my knee or my hip hurt more. :-) After surgery on my hip, my knee is now perfect, it no longer hurts at all. I hope you see the same results. Guest guest
Yes, Jim, I had severe knee pain at times before my surgery. I thought surely my knee was gone also. Since my surgery, the pain has left me. Arianne > > Did anyone have lots of pain in your knee before you had your THP > surgery? If so, did it go away after your surgery? Guest guest
Lynn, I would keep an eye on it, but its very early days for a knee replacement.its not even quite a month yet. perhaps others might have a better idea as its been 12 years since I had a knee done. mary -- Knee Question Over the last few days, I have had some intense pain when doing some of my exercises, and sometimes it happens for no reason that I can tell. Last night I couldn't sleep, couldn't find a comfortable way to rest. My knee was replaced on 29 March. My PT came today and said it appears that I could have some fluid on my knee from the swelling on either side...it's been swollen, but he thinks the swelling has increased. One good thing is the area is clear. I can't recall reading anything about this. Has anyone experienced this as a possible problem? And if so, what was done about it? Thanks!
