Guest guest
WELCOME JEANNE-- THIS IS THE PLACE TO FIND THE TRUTH, ALL RIGHT. ALL QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED AND ENCOURAGEMENT ABOUNDS! MARGE HE LIVES! Hi I've been lurking about 4 weeks, thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jeanne; and I would like to thank all of you for the information and help you have given me. Looks like all of you knew beforehand that you were going to have a THR. Well...I'm a little different; one night 5 weeks ago, I was lying on the love seat petting and gently playing with our dog when suddenly I couldn't move my left leg. Finally I let my husband call for an ambulance. Don't remember much, had to wait for 2 days before they could operate-I did not even know, they were giving me morphine and I was out. When I did come around, my family did tell me what I had done, but it didn't register, do to the drugs. When I got home and on the computer, I searched all I could about THR (that's how I found your list)I learned so much from you all and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have an appt with the Surgeon in 2 wks and I have a list of questions- I still don't know why or how. Sorry this is so long-thanks

Guest guest
Your doctor didn't tell you WHY he gave you a THR? He must have told someone?!? Did he tell a family member? It sort of sounds like your hip dislocated. Is this what happened? Or did you break it? I'm sure you must have a very very long list of questions and hope you can get them all answered. Since you are on the recovery side of THR now, keep coming to this board and ask whatever question comes up. There's lots of experience here. > Hi I've been lurking about 4 weeks, thought I'd introduce myself.
