Hi everyone. I am just wondering if anyone has been able to get in and

out of a kayak after total knee replacement? I had one knee replaced

in 1995 and the other in 2004. I can get in and out of a canoe with a

some difficulty but I am interested in trying to use a kayak. It would

be lightweight, something I could do on my own. In a canoe it is

somewhat difficult to push myself up high enough with my arms to get

my legs under me to then push up with them. Since a kayak has less

room than a canoe, does anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks all, cheers, Pam
