Guest guest
Raven: has she had any P.T.? What is her activity level like? Sometimes they just need to walk on that leg and do their exercies. However, sharp pain is unusual. If your doctor doesn't have any ideas, perhaps it is time for a second opinion. Hope you get her figured out. Marilyn Raven wrote: Hello and thank you for letting me join your group. First of all I do want to say that I joined this club to get information for my Aunt. She is 80 years old had to have her right hip replaced. The issue with this is she still walks with a cane and when she stands up or puts weight down on that leg it is like someone taking a knife and twisting it. We have had her back to her doctors and they have run x- rays and MRI's on her hip and they say that there is nothing wrong with her leg. Then why is it hurting her so badly? If anyone here has had this same issue please post this. She is about to give up. She has had no prior sickness other than her eye sight. They did put her on Mobic thinking it maybe RA.
