I am 53 years old and had bilateral done 10 weeks ago. Everything

went well and I was walking without pain or crutches after 6 weeks.

Now though I am experiencing a lot of low back pain, where befor on

all movement the pain was from my hips now it's my back. Is this

usuall? I was only given the basic exercises on leaving hospital and

at the six week check I was told I could swim, ride my bike, etc. in

moderation. Is there any other exercises I could do. Also I keep

getting sharp stabing pain in the centre of my buttocks and the scar

area is quite sensitive. Can this just be the nerves now getting

better. I thought I was doing remarkably well, but am not so sure

now.
