Guest guest
I have not mentioned it to him, because I am wondering if it is from the other hip. I will when I see him on the 3rd, the day before my second hip is done. Dottie

I have had slight pain to some degree or other the whole time, while keeping a smile on my face to the world I am now going in to have the other one done, and need to know if others are still having pain as long as 4 months after?? I am almost 63 and female. I can't walk distance much and my back hurts most all the time. Will getting the other hip done help eliminate my back problem?Dottie
Guest guest
When you go for your pre-op, or schedule a time before then, to see the Physical Therapist. Sometimes just muscle imbalance, ie. weakness and tight muscles, can cause both the hip pain and the back pain. Favoring one leg can cause back pain.....lots of small things can contribute. What is your doc. saying? Marilyn meinrockville wrote: I had my thr on Jan 6,2004. 50% weight bearing for 2 wks then cane with as much weight as tolerable.
