Jane, I've seen Dr. Mont at Sinai. What an amazing group of doctors at the Rubin Institute there. A friend annd her son have both had surgeries there. Dr. Paley was the one surgeon she could find in the U.S. who could save her son from spending his later life in a wheel chair when he broke his hip playing soccer. I so wanted Dr. Mont for my knee replacements, but I would have had to go out of my insurance network and pay much more out of pocket. I'm having some concerns about the slow recovery of my knees and thinking of seeing Dr. Mont for a second opinion. Sounds like we a lot in common. All my joints have to go also. It's daunting, isn't it? My goal before I have my hip surgeries in a year or two is to have new insurance that will allow me to go to Sinai. We'll have to stay in touch.
