Boy I sure love that one! I had to do it for the first 5 weeks so my legs stayed apart but I still do it sometimes now because it makes the rest of the body feel good! I have not tried yoga yet althought I have some cd's. I may try that and see how it goes. I have no problems getting up and down off the floor so it might be a good addition. Thanks for the idea. EL

You're very welcome. I don't think I could have lived without doing that. Everyone says I should try yoga. I don't think I could do it before my knees so I doubt I can do it now :).

Hi Gang,,, & EL,,,

I can't find the original 'Post' about 'The Pillow',,,So I don't know

if we're talking about hips or knees...But if we're talking about knees,

well then, I can can tell you that a pillow was my best friend for the

first three months...It was a soft cushion between the tenderness of my

new knee & my good knee while lying on my side in bed...I am 6 months

Post Op, & now I have finally swapped a pillow for a towel...I don't

leave home, or watch TV, or anything else without my towel,,,It's a

very small towel, but it gives me a buffer zone of comfort between my

New Knee & whatever I am resting it against...My Doctor says that I can

expect a couple of more months with the towel...
