abbreviating posting

Dear Carolyn,

Thank you so much for posting about snipping. Wish you had done it sooner

(or that I had had the courage to do so myself) because I had given up on

this digest. Too time-consuming and irritating to read and reread and

reread these repetitive posts.

I hadn't gotten around to unsuscribing, but since I hadn't been reading it

for some time, I simply deleted the whole batch. Maybe there was something

worthwhile in them, but I'll never know. And I think that's a shame since

I face THR in November.

Wish you had suggested that responders also mark their posts OT (off topic)

if it has to do with the 60's, etc., but not THR. I enjoy OT posts but when

time is short, it's so much simpler to be able to glance at the Topic list

at beginning of digest and decide whether to read or not. Or if receiving

individual messages, know at a glance at subject line if this is to the

point or not.
