Guest guest
If there's anyone out there who has undergone this procedure, I would very much appreciate hearing from you. Between this new technique, the various mini-incisions, and the standard, it's hard to chose!

Hello Sylvia, I had a 2 incision LHR procedure done in May at Hackensack University Hospital in NJ by Dr. Mark Hartzband. Less trauma, less blood, less pain, faster recovery and rehab. I was up and walking and climbing stairs (with crutches) in the recovery room and out of the hospital the following day. My staples were removed 13 days later and I was able to drive my car home from the doctor's office. I highly recommend this MIS procedure as long as it's performed by a very experienced surgeon. Dr. Hartzband is highly skilled and does up to 10 THR and TKR's 3 days a week and has successfully done well over 100 2-incision and 1000 single incision MIS procedures. Good luck,
