I'm scheduled for knee replacement next month and the doctor said that the screw has to come out and it will leave a hole in the bone. He may put a stent in it or may let it heal on it's own. If he does the latter, then I won't be able to have any weight bearing on it for a few weeks. Also, I'm just looking for support from this group...I need to do this because I've been in pain too long and want to enjoy life!! Take care and God bless!! Ok, I will have surgery either the 18th or 25th. will get my paperwork on Monday and get me scheduled. So I am on my way finally. Yes. Shoot, I'd go tomorrow if I could. But, at least I KNOW it is a go. I will post the exact date soon.
