I've read or heard somewhere that life is relatively short, and I

believe that it is shortened even more if we are excessively serious

most of the time. (I am extremely serious about serious matters).

I've found that the only way that I can retain my sanity in an

insane world is to act crazy.

It seems to work for me.

Very seriously, I realize that having a sense of humor is more

difficult when you are suffering physically or mentally. However, we

have a lot of influence over our own attitudes--even when we are

suffering.

Many of the great comics are people who have suffered in their

lifetimes. Perhaps they used comedy as a release.

I wish everyone the best.

Sounds to me like someone in high places told them to get their S....t together. Any agency that doesn't do something about fulfilling its medicare obligations isn't long in business, I should think.

Glad you finally got help. The P.T. usually does start with the hospital exercises....and build on them. Legs only do certain things, have certain muscle, so really, there is only the finding out what level you're at now and building from there as you progress.
