28 year old....Ceramic hip?

I recently scheduled surgery for Dec. at Rush Hospital, Chicago. I

inquired about a ceramic on ceramic hip, but I was told that the Dr.

doesn't use those because there has been a lot of problems with

cracking. Does anyone know anything about this? They want to do

metal. I am young and do not want to have surgergy again in the next

10-15 years. Does anyone have an suggestions?
