Guest guest Posted January 15, 2007 Report Share Posted January 15, 2007 ARTHUR, well i've been taking my iron, doing my exercises, taking my colace, because i'm taking iron, lol. i've got everything under control as far as i know. i go on thursday for my pre-surgery physical. hubby bought me a new chair for the living room so i can sit comfortably (all we have now is a real low and cushy (sp?) sofa and a rocker, neither very good for comfort or getting in and out of. i have a list of the assistant aids i'll need, i'm going to see how many i can get from the hospital and the rest, from whomever they suggest, since there are no real shops up this way that sell them, not that i can find anyway. at the class the gal did mention the hospital can supply most of the needs -- for a price of course, lol. i guess i'm ready. i've bought two new nighties (from ebay -- i do a lot of shopping on ebay) and some new shoes that do not tie, that i SHOULD be able to get on. hmmmmmmmm, i guess that's it. i'm as ready as i'll ever be. ;-) oh, and i'm getting my hair cut today. ;-) i cancelled the appointments for the manicure, pedicure, facial and massage that i had made. i can justify spending all that money. thanks Arthur -- have a good one! She said that she used to feel so bad for me when she would see me because the pain was written all over my face. Mind you, I only see this gal once every 4-6 weeks.
