I have had it. I can't take aleve (causes tummy troubles). I use Tramadol right now. Man, you got a whole month. God love ya, that bites too. I know about the domino thing. My knee hurting makes my whole leg hurt, and when I favor the knee my back hurts worse. GRRR. It's a mess too, but that is for another time. I don't know what I'll do with it. My OS is talking about sending me to a spine specialist for an evaluation, but we are going to fix my knee first and go from there. I'll keep praying for strength to go for both of us.

Yep sometimes it bites hard. Been there, done that too many times. Am I going to make it till the 1st without pulling my hair out? I'm in pain here. I hate using these words and God forgive me but DAMMIT IT HURTS!!!! I am using a mild pain pill but it isn't helping and I'd rather not go on something stronger till I have my surgery. Thanks for letting me vent. It helps sometimes.

It has reached the point where it is going bad in series. [Come to think of it, so is my body!

I am tired of fixing it, but it is not shifting properly. When the mechanic said, "$ 1600" --I said, "ENOUGH!" We found a lovely Chrysler Town and Country, so I may be back real soon. lol

My TLHR loves the height of the seat. And my two TKRs feel right at home and are delighted with the extra room to reposition [ just to keep this thread on track here.] lol

I sort of lose interest in our site when I open the site and find 90 messages with 8 in row from the same person. >>> Busier the better in my view. Least with 90 messages you know what's going on with the "like family friends" you make here and you don't sit wondering what's going on. Plus.... for those new to the board there's something to read instead of a big, blank, empty, message board. Sorry to be one that must tick your turd Ruth but I post in the hopes of helping another seeking insight on making THR their life choice..... and posting is what seems to help do that. So... I did that too pressure cleaning mom's house. Oh Lord I was sore for days. I need to paint and clean my apartment so badly, but I'll settle for cleaning before TKR next week, so my daughter and hubby won't have so much to keep up.

I painted my kitchen a few weeks ago. Took me a week to recover. I REALLY want to get my living room done before surgery, but don't know if that is going to happen........ also supposed to get hot and humid here again.

Here too and I also have asthma. I think I'll just do the cleaning and forget it. I really don't need to hurt myself before next week. Hopefully the weather will cool off soon. Take care,

Best of Luck next week I am now 13 weeks post op and still having a lot of swelling in lower leg and foot I get soooo discouraged I want to go back to work

I was wondering what happen to you that was nice of you to help your Aunt like that does she live close to you? Well I have a Aunt I can't visit her she lives like 50 miles from me so I call her every weekend . Well you take care and I hope you feel better .

nice of you to help your Aunt like that does she live close to you? Yeah, she's almost right around the corner. Her kids & grandkids aren't much help to her unless they are paid or think somethings in it for them.... ticks my turd! I just couldn't see her dragging that furniture around & doing it all by herself... especially being a cardiac patient. I try to help when I can... specially my elders that I know really don't have much help~ just hope one day someone thinks enough of me to return the favor when I'm older & need assistance. It's right scarey how bad our society is becoming about pushing the elderly to the side like they have no purpose & the kids these days being so outta control. I can't just sit back and watch knowing there's something I could do to help. Might not be the best paint job that livingrooms ever seen.... but I can say I did my best and it looks much better then it did~ plus bonus was it didn't cost her a dime except keeping the coffee coming and we both had a good visit. Can't beat that with a stick. Would've been nicer had my body not flared up~ but then we can't have it all. LOL

Good keeping in touch... after all~ one may know that their loved but it is so much nicer hearing it said and having the affectionate displays that SHOW it daily. Can & does make all the difference in the world.

LOL Actually I'm doing way better then I was.... 4~5 days I was feeling pretty crappy and I don't think my leg has ever swelled like that before~ might've been just being on it for as long as I was straight stretch like that.... can't say that I really know. Was a first time for me and only thing that changed was me doing that painting~ so I'd say that was the cause? Oh well... over & done THANK THE LORD! LOL Hope your feeling well too sweetie.
