Guest guest
, Have you spoken with the Dr about any kind of bracing for you knee? You may have a few options that can help to releive some of the pain. If you are looking for something to help with the patella, there are braces that are designed to track your patella into its correct anatomical postion. In regards to the arthritis you may able to try an unloader brace. This brace is designed to relieve some of the stress and wear and tear on your knee joint. I have used braces like this on patients in the past when their only other option was surgery. I have found for the most part the braces to be helpful. Now by that I mean that has helped to relieve some of the pain and lessen the wear on the joint. It may be worth a try before having a joint replacement. If you decide to try some bracing options let me know and I can offer suggestions on different models that may work for you. Happy New Year.
