Guest guest Posted April 19, 2006 Report Share Posted April 19, 2006 Hi Don, I had my TKR on Feb 27, 2006 and am getting along really great. Determination, I guess. Today is my last day of PT. I had the larger scar with mine. I measured it and it's 9" long and then just below that I have about a 1" scar. Have no idea what that is! I was showing a friend who came over my boo-boo and he almost passed out. I thought I was going to have to pick him up off the floor. Some people can't handle it, I guess. That's the last time I do that. My daughter-in-laws father has about a 4" scar from his TKR. And you can hardly see it now and it's only been a year. I think mine will always be around and I wear shorts in the summer. Add it to another battle scar! I had a repair job done on my right knee in 2001, but you can still see it; still light pink.
