Doing polls is a great idea! I hope we do more about the pressing

questions we all seem to have both pre and post op. Can we post the

results in the file section of the mailing list? I'll be happy to help

with this when I get going again. Barbara

What do you do if you have two replacements? It only lets you vote

once! My first was 9 days. ( Had if done on Friday and redone on

Monday) The second was 3 days. Both metal/poly cemented.

I voted, for my husband, but there was not a time frame there for him.

He was never non-weight bearing, and he was non-cemented!

I didn't vote. The survey is seriously flawed because

there is no response available for those who never had

a weight-bearing restriction. The survey results

won't give a true indication of what the total THR

population has experienced

Hi Jim, I agree. I didn't vote either because I never had a weight

bearing restriction. I was up the day after surgery with a walker, 2

days later with a cane. -
