Guest guest
Hello , My husbands also has AVN also, the surgery was rescheduled as the machine they use was malfunctioning. His brother, who is his twin, had THR five months ago and he feels great! He just drove up here (SF, Bay Area) from Tuscon NM, NO pain at all. You're doctor probably seemed casual as this is a very common surgery. Please don't worry. I'll let you know when my husbands new appt. is. Please let me know when yours is. To me it seemed this Dr. was too "casual" regarding the surgery. To me it was devastating. I have had knee surgery in 2001, Back surgery (Herniated disc-L 4-5) in 2002 and the same L4-5 herniated again and another surgery in 2003. Now I am facing this for 2004. I need some advice and support. ThanksJS
Guest guest
: Absolutely seek another opinion, and a third if necessary. Mine can from playing too much sports and an injury, causing traumatic arthritis. Good luck to you! Guest guest
Hi Nanci, Thanks for responding. I see my neurosurgeon tomorrow, Tuesday, to learn if he think my AVN may have been caused by my WC accident I had 2 years ago. I had two back surgeries from that and now this. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Searching...
