" When

needed I bring in another adult or teenagers to lend a hand with crowd

control. Maybe you can suggest this to dad if he is foreseeing some

difficulties with the party. "

Oh , you don't even want to hear about the " helpful teenager "

who's probably gonna be there! She is her dad's girlfriends little

juvenile delinquent daughter. High school drop out, drug addict,

smart-ass snot (who tells Ava neat things like where to put perfume so

boys can smell it when they kiss her, how Ava should shave her arms all

over cause they're too hairy, and calls her a brat when asked not to

smoke around her - a real charmer!).

" good luck!! Happy Birthday to Ava! "

Thanks!! :-)

Hi

Thanks for you quick response and once again, you are right on target. It is

now almost 2 PM and I still haven't gotten a call from the school so I'm

hoping he is ok. He last saw Dr. F. 2 weeks ago and I've been in touch with

her by phone. We will be seeing her on Saturday. She is speaking with the

school psychologist today. I'm hoping we can implement some modifications

even before the CSE meeting to lessen his stress level.

's grandmother passed away a week ago Saturday and I'm sure as you say,

this has given him conflicting feelings of sorrow, guilt and just thinking

about death and an afterlife (scrupulosity, God issues are a biggie) must be

taking its toll on him bigtime. He is feeling that he can't catch a break in

all aspects of his life. I'll keep you posted on how this progresses.

Thanks so much for you wisdom and caring.

Noelle

Dear , As someone who has had the displeasure of being too tight, I can only tell you that Jenni is oh, so right. Look into the archives, where I share my experience of being too tight. It is scary and something that I never want to do again. Don't push your band. When I was too tight I couldn't sleep for a number of nights. Even when I did mangae to dose off, in an inclined position, I would awaken abruptly due to vomiting on my own saliva (sometimes with so much force that it even came out my nose). Sorry to be graphic, but please understand how powerful of a tool your band is. Patience, please. Remember, this is not a race, but a journey. Try to find pleasure in the journey, in the end you may find it as rewarding as the destination. Also, have faith, the band works. Concentrate on doing your part, and once filled, the band will do its part. I know, I am down 60 pounds

since 7/7/06. Good luck. Peace, Cathryn

Hi rn. Thank you for sharing and graphic is never too graphic

if you are saving a friend from heart ache. I did decide to wait.

I was just anxious. I have lost 6 pounds in little over a week and

I believe my fill is just perfect. I just thought I was eating more

than I should. But then I remembered how much I used to eat. I'm

good. Thank you so much for talking to me about this. Take care.

Hi Jennie. Thanks for sharing the too much fill story. I

appreciate that you care and understand what I'm going through.

Thanks to you and others, I have decided to wait. I think I have

the perfect fill right now and am very happy. I appreciate all the

advice and would never take it as anything other than that. Caring

advice from my friends. Thanks, .
