21 days after surgery........

Today it has been 21 days since my new knees were installed. We

went to the surgeons appointment yesterday and had a wonderful time

getting out the stitches (Blue nylon fishing line)...NOT. One

section on the left stuck and was not easy to get out. Tonight I

got to have my first shower since the operation. Heaven...simply

heaven!!!! I'm not sure how long I was in there, but it was a long

time. It's nice to have clean hair...finally. I walked all the way

to the shower and back to the family room using only my cane. I'm

to have 2 more home visits for PT then starting Monday I go back to

the same team I had before the operation an Florida Orthopedic

Institute. We started together--we'll end together. It has been a

team effort and they are good. My pain level is way down too.
