Guest guest
DEAR VAL What joy comes through your letter. I am SO eager to get into the pool. You are just doing a great job, please keep reporting? I am right behind you. Marge He lives! My right leg, THR side, has ended up longer then my left. I think it is slowing down my walking without a limp process. If I wear my Nikes with lifts in them, I walk much more smooth. But I live and work in California and love to wear sandals. Inserts, for a lift, do not stay in sandals too good. Now I have to find some shoes for fall and winter that I can put some over-the-counter lifts in. I, as most of you, limped for so long, I have to concentrate on a limpless walk. But I will do it. My husband stays on my case about limping, which I need. He is also there for a hand or arm when I go up and down curbs and steps. I still have this terrible fear of falling.I went to the local therapuetic pool last night after work for a water workout. I thought I was going to die b4 I got home. Aches and pains, but they hurt good. You know that pain when you have used muscles again. No new or agrivated hip or knee pain. Lets just say bed felt very good last night.Valeri

Guest guest
Yes, Valeri, I've noticed that I have to really concerntrate to avoid a limp, which I can do. I guess it's merely developing a correct habit. I'm 9 weeks out from under the scapel. Guest guest
Your 2 legs are probably the same length. Your pelvis is probably tilted, one side higher then the other. One leg longer then the other is a common misconception. paul Valeri <vjshoem@...> wrote: My right leg, THR side, has ended up longer then my left.
