He occasionally says, > " If a feng shui consultant says this, then they are a phony! " and > explains why! good to know about. I probably would've avoided the title! I just checked, and the one book I have is, " Clear Your Clutter With Feng Shui " . It was being raved about on some other list a few months ago and I haven't even cracked the cover. I'll be looking for the Idiot's guide (I always wonder if they were spying on me when they wrote those titles<G>) thanks, Jim. Guest guest
Sharon, That book, Clear your clutter..... is the one my girlfriend bought that got me interested in feng shui in the first place. I like it a lot. But there are generalizations made in it that I can't reconcile now that I have gone further into the art than that book does. That book is great.... if your you want a best-case decision on your home without actually studying feng shui. But, the fellow who wrote the complete idiot's guide starts at the basics and shows the reader step by step how to understand the foundation pieces, from a western mindset-offset, so you understand the structure, feng shui, that is built upon that foundation. In the process, you learn about things like the tri-grams that make up the hexograms of the I ching, so that now makes more sense. And so on, and on with other things Chinese of which you may have heard. He has a great sense of humor, too! When you learn things this way, then they are yours, not something you consult in a book. jim Sharon sey wrote: > > good to know about. I probably would've avoided the title!
