We have an old DOS based program but looking for an effective upgrade. If anyone has any ideas it will be greatly appreciated. Guest guest Posted March 15, 2010 Report Share Posted March 15, 2010 the program we had at the hospital that i used to work at was called lastword. a dos based program sounds like what we had when i first started in 1999. whre i worked the techs re-print what was already entered, but the pharmacists were the ones to put it in the computer.  Does anyone know of a good software program to teach hospital pharm tech students physician order entry for creating fill lists and IV orders?
