HI,

I will take the test next Friday.

I am pretty good at math. I don't even need a caculator.

But my problem is the drug names. I only familar with few of them.

Would anyone recently took the test tell me what should I study before

the test?

Thanks a lot!

Dear cell_bb,

Unfortunately everyone who takes an exam whether it is PTCB or ICPT signs a

promise or an affidavit that they will not divulge any information from the PTCB

or ICPT exam.  The purpose is to keep the integrity of the exam. If we all had a

key to the test the test score would mean nothing.

However we CAN discuss TOPICS on the test!

I suggest that you study the top 200 drugs (see the files section for this list

or link), for trade/generic/classification

While you are at it study the samedrugs for the pharmacology:

Know Side effects/Toxic effects

Drug/Herb/Food/Disease State interactions

Warnings/Precautions and Contraindications

Mechanism of Action

Pharmacokinetics

go to the Tutorials in my Files section for Pharmacology an for Tools for Study

Hope this helps,

Respectfully,
