hello,

i currently work for CVS in northern virginia, wish I could fill you in on

how much they start CPHT's out at. Everyone in my neck of the words has taken

the test once they were already working for CVS. I can tell you that CVS

offered anyone who took the test and past along with other requirements

received a bonus.

sorry i couldnt be of much help.

Hi Owen,

I think that is a very good idea.

Personally, I am always struggling with this; choice of format, how much to

include, etc.

It appears to be best to always target the CV to the particular employer and

employment situation. In other words, a canned CV that is always ready to go

does not seem to be the best choice.

Having been at both ends of this equation, I can say that it is tricky. There is

a conflict between being as specific and as comprehensive as possible and the

consideration that the first cull involves a very brief scan of the document.

I would certainly be interested to read any advice the people on the forum may

have.

Cheers,

Gösta

Subject: CV's

I recently posted a request for CV's for a job in a small housing compound in

Angola (all CV's for which have been passed on and appear to have disappeared

into the great black hole of 'management indecision').

I looked at a lot of CV's in the last few months and have been intersted to see

the various formats, layouts and information contained in them.

In this difficult time for employment I wondered if the list would be interested

in discussing the format, layout and content of their CV's.
