Guest guest
Dear All, In response to an email from Pharmacyonesource, I wrote and submitted the following email: Date: Mon, 2 Jan 2006 03:45:36 -0800 (PST) From: " Jeanetta Mastron " Subject: What ASHP and APHA should have on their minds in 2006 pharmacyonesource.com 1. Recognition of Current Pharmacy Technicians of America 2. Pay Increases for Hospital and other Pharmacy Technicians of America 3. Standardization of Education of Pharmacy Technicians of America 4. Standardization of the Training of Pharmacy Technicans of America 5. Nationwide Standardized Qualifications of Pharmacy Technicians of America 6. Understanding that anyone can study for and pass the PTCB exam, but it does not make them a technician! ONLY Standardized EDUCATION and TRAINING and then testing and certification can make a good technician by giving them the foundation that they need to learn more on the job. Reading and studying a book or other online literature is NOT going to make a technican. Respectfully, Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Chemistry Pharmacy Technican Program Director Founder/Owner of on CE developer, author and presentor National Pharmacy Technician Educator of the Year 2002 Pharmacology Textbook Author
