Guest guest
Cinbennett427, Don't panic................. I know what you are feeling. When I decided to become certified it had been years since I had tested my math skills, if I had any to begin with. Hated math in school. Had horrible teachers. Some of them would walk in to a room slap up a formula on the board and leave. So, for this test I bought a couple of books. Found some used on-line, and literally paid a couple of dollars for them. One thing that I discovered is that if you can master ratio and proportion. You can handle most problems you will come accross. If you are able to do so, there is a book that is part of the APhA Pharmacy Technician Training Series, " Complete Math Review for the Pharmacy Technician " . I think I got it through Amazon....... The guy that presents it is very down to earth, keeps it simple......... " Math for Dummies " that was how I felt too. Guest guest
I got nothing from this site: www.freemedicalebooks.net, I had to search thru page after page to find the name of this book as there was nowhere to search the title. It took forever. Tried to download it after I finally found the title, it did a small download and when I tried to open the file nothing happened. If I am doing something wrong, please tell me but I came up empty. I saw nowhere to log in either. Is this a legitimate site???? Re: Can someone please help me!! Guest guest
I had the same problem. However if you go to my Files - Folder #2 Books and Study Guide Reviews - 2009 Folder you will find it listed as #9 and a site on Amazon. You can also google it on Amazon. Unfortunately it is not FREE via Amazon. I have a free PDF file but I can not send it due to copyright. For math taught easy, I suggest my own tutorials or Techlectures.com Review book. Guest guest
Dear cinbennett427, May I suggest that you try some of the interactive math links I have in my link section that help you with non-pharmacy basic math to solidify your recollection of how to do basic math then basic algebra problems; before you go on to basic pharmacy math. Again also try my math tutorials or Techlectures manual for easy basic pharmacy math. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Don't forget everyone about the TUTORIALS that show you how to solve various math problems in the Files section of this site! So even if you do use this math book download you may need more tutorials or teaching that you can see as if it was taught in classroom setting on my files/tutorials seciton. That goes the same for any book you buy!
