Guest guest
3.) A prescription reads " hydricortisone 1%, clotrimazole 1%, aa ap qhs " . How many grams of hydrocortisone would be required to make 90gms? (answer: 45 gm HC + 45 gm choltrimazole) The CLUE here is that you MUST know pharmaceutical terminology! The CLUE is that `aa' means " of each " . So if a total of 90 grams is made and equal parts of each ingredient were used and there were only two ingredients, then 90grams/total ingredients divided by 2 ingredients = 45 grams per ingredient. Since one ingredient is hydrocortisone 1% and the other is clotrimazole 1%: 45 gm HC1% + 45 gm clotrimazole 1% were mixed together. Hope this helps! Guest guest
You are most welcome! I believe you will do fine IF you are scoring 85% and higher on practice exams and if you feel comfortable to do similar math problems that you ask about and you know law. RELAX! Guest guest
Hi, Wayne. Jeanetta is right. As I told you. Just relax and do it. You will do great. I had the same concerns that you did. You have 2 hours to do 90 questions. Plenty of time. I found out that after answering this 2 or 3 questions, it made me more relaxed and confident. Trust in yourself. We are all pulling for you.
