Guest guest
Hi , I guess that was another " " and speaking of , there is quite an inspirational story of one on page 149 of Energy Medicine:o) I found that whole chapter on chakra energies to be very interesting and it does mention that we in the western world have quite overdeveloped third chakras at the expense of the fourth, or heart chakra which we often skip over in our quest for spirituality, going straight from the third to the sixth - not inferring that you have done that - but I know I did. The fourth chakra is the bridge, I believe, between our egoic self and our higher self. It is the energy center where unconditional love comes from. And this lessens inner turmoil and conflict between the ego and the higher self. One thing to remember when we use EFT is that we are essentially focusing on one energy system and that is the meridians and their access points on the body. According to Donna, there are at least seven or eight more major energy systems that are accessable through touch, tapping, thumping, rubbing and even just imagining their existance! It seems the meridians are the transmission lines for subtle energies and the chakras can be compared to the power supplies and amplifiers and picture tube in a TV set. They are energy vorticies that translate the basic chi energy from the meridians into the " pictures and sound " that become who we are as individuals. The energy in our meridians, like the electricity in a TV set, really doesn't carry any pictures or sound, but supply energy to the the parts of us that do. Maybe getting carried way on a mixed metaphor jag here:-) One of the other interesting energy fields she mentions are the " strange flows " or what she calls the " inner mom " . This is the energy system that goes around poking it's nose into everybody elses activities to see if they are OK and giving out advice to help them. Love that name! Like I mentioned previously, her book is a really useful addition to the EFT material and all the relatives of TFT. Blessings, Nels > Hi Nels, (regarding Spiritual Blocks) > > I have Donna's book but haven't looked at it in a long time. I got it out yesterday and started to read it again. Thanks for reminding me. I am not on a CWG forum, just a discussion group that meets weekly in the physical world, so it wasn't me. Guest guest
Hi , Yes no doubt there is still some work to do - and we are all learning as we go. Allowing yourself to be powerful with healing is really nothing to fear. Instead feel grateful, because as you already know - you are the instrument through which the healing is allowed to flow - you are not doing the healing. There is nothing wrong in feeling great joy in being able to heal yourself and even more joyful to help others. Just remember, even Jesus could only heal those who were open to it. So developing the atmosphere in which healing can occur is very important. Pursue you path with joy and love and let the results speak for themselves - with no personal attachment to the them and you will never have to be concerned about your ego getting out of hand. Blessings, Nels > Hi Nels, > > I had an interesting experience this morning. I was doing some self healing with EFT and TAT and I got clear that one of my fears with allowing myself to be powerful (which also relates to spiritual blocks) is that I would get a big ego and then everything would fall apart. This got even clearer when I was telling my husband that the pain in my knee that I was working on with Reiki (I got attuned to level 1 two weeks ago) was healed, I felt like I was " tooting my own horn " and the pain came back. (Even though I know Reiki does not come from me but through me.) More work to do. > > Love and light, > > > ________________________________________________________________ > The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! > Surf the web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER! > Only $14.95/ month - visit www.juno.com to sign up today! Guest guest
Thanks Heidi - I found this article enlightening. Oh yes, I want the "ugly monster" to go away, too! I love the Eastern holistic approach. I am 'more' than just the Western idea of a 'machine'. Having CFS/Fibro. does not mean that I am 'broken'. Although, spiritually, I felt that way at times. The Eastern view of recreating order, and balance, appeals to me. "Energy medicine?" Very interesting! I hope we see a second installment... Guest guest
I too have got tremendous improvement from NAET. The best thing is I did not regress for almost a year when I inadvertently sat in front of a WIFI router for an hour and a half(it took me that long to feel it). I was a mess for a month, but got back to where I was after one treatment for $65.. I think it depends a lot on the skill of the practitioner. I hope more learn this skill. I have been able to return to work, even though they have WIFI in the building-luckily not on my computer.
Guest guest
Hi , I am considering doing this. How many treatments did you have before it made a difference?
