Requirements vary from state to state---some do not recognize techs

at all, while others recognize techs, but do not recognize PTCB's

national certification credential, still others require CPhT status.

Consistency would be novel concept, but since the pharmacy have yet

to achieve uniformity, I doubt we'll be seeing it for techs anytime

soon.

Please contact Florida's Board of Pharmacy for technician requirements

Here's the contact information:

Hi everyone,

Its been a long time since i posted. Took my exam in Nov and am waiting for the

results too and also was busy with my job search which is not proving to be very

fruitful, Mainly i guess because of lack of experience. I have seen that you

need to be registerd in the state you intend to work too, I was just confused if

this was the national certification? If not then how do i get registered in the

state of florida? Do I need to be a cpht in order to be registerd? Any help

would be appreciated. All the best ot everyone waiting for their results.

Kamini
