I just wanted to let everyone know how happy I am . I dont know if

anyone knows my story, But heres it goes. I was a chemical

processor for a chemical plant for 12 years and last august I lost

my job. So my wife and I decided I should be a Pharmacy

Technician. I said okay , but I have'nt been in school for 20

years , I never had any college or anything , just highschool. So

naturally I was kind of worried. So my wife , which is a RN decided

to put her schooling on hold for me , so that really put the

pressure on me to do well. So I did a home study with PCDI which is

a home study course. I finished a 2 year course in little over a

year with a 92 average. Then I had the greastest challenge yet to

come. I had to pass the PTCB exam . I was really nervous, because I

have'nt even worked in a Pharmacy yet . So I took the exam on a sat

at UH IN Houston Texas. I felt confident , but still unsure . I

have been studying by myself and have been checking post on here

when I could. But Sat 12-20 I open that mail box and there it was. I

was so scared to open it. I tore into it and seen the certificate ,

I ran inside and woke my wife up " she was working night " I said I

passed I passed . I was so happy and she was so proud of me .

Really is going to make my Christmas and New year alot better. I

have a job lined up at UTMB Galveston. My wife works there as an

SICU Nurse so she is very happy . Well I think ya'll have heard

enough..lol I hope the best for everyone else who took the exam.
