Guest guest
Hi Dana, I dont have trouble with slimming and pb'ing unless I eat certain food, or I eat to fast, or dont chew my food good enough. But if I eat something that I should be eating and I chew good and eat slow it goes right through me and I am hungry about a 1/2 later. does that sound like I need a fill? Isnt it normal in the world of the " band " to have your stomach react to certain foods? and it is wierd because some things I eat that I really think I shouldnt, like the time my son was sitting next to me and he had some popcorn and I joined in helping him eat it. :-) I thought " should I really be doing this? " but I had no problem at all. and then one day I ate a few spoon fools of cottage cheese between clients because I was starving and I gulped it down (old habits die hard I am telling you!), and it was like " clunk " and I pb'd from it. so for me I really need to be " careful " and " mindful " when I eat. chew, chew, chew and then chew some more!!! this brain gives me way more problems than the body. darn brain!!! but years and years of old habits dont die overnight, like Mari was saying to me (and others) that it takes time and we have to work on the mind stuff too. so I will see how I feel over this next week and if I have still have problems after doing all that I am supposed to do, then I will reschedule my fill for after the holiday. well I am off to get ready for work. you guys have a great day. big hugs, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Why isn't the scale moving anymore. Guest guest
Hi , You hit the nail on the head! :-) If your still hungry after eating a fair amount than you probably need that fill. The band can be quite "Fickeled" at times with certain foods! Mine hates French fries and yogurt!! lol....but it loves popcorn, peanuts and tostitoes!! GO FIGURE :~}(hands thrown up in the air!) I think I'll be getting my 4th fill next week too..let me know how it goes Dana -------------- Original message -------------- From: "peninsulahair" <peninsulahair@...> Hi Dana, I dont have trouble with slimming and pb'ing unless I eat certain food, or I eat to fast, or dont chew my food good enough. Guest guest
Hi , Yes to your first question about whether Life Lift breathing can help you while you do traditional exercises!!! Life Lift is very versatile and it can be done on his own, with or without Rashelle's exercises and while doing traditional exercises or not!!! I have never heard of anything LIKE Life Lift breathing for being such a versatile form of exercise!!! Yes, to your second question, too. Life Lift breathing is a form of exercise called AEROBIC BREATHING!!! Whenever you do Life Lift breathing you are getting the very same benefits that you would get from traditional exercise, so that means that Life Lift breathing done alone IS just as wonderful and just as effective for cardiovascular health as the traditional exercises commonly called " CARDIO " . Love always, Pat 2 questions I have noticed since renewing my LL...that my " muscles " are getting definition.. .and the funny thing of it, some of the lifelift that I do, is on a stationary bike...and my thighs..are looking like " biker legs " ... It is curious...and my waist and middle is looking " sculpted " even with the extra " weight " there...? Does this happen to any of you? The other question, What about " cardio " ? They always have the suggestion.. .meaning health gurus etc, that you should get your heart rate up to so much for so many minutes a day...? Does that fit in in anyone's schedule here, and does LL do a " heart " workout...what happens there? Can LL be enough? Yeah, my mom has heart issues too...I just watch her and realize I have only today to make the most of my tomorrows... ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never Miss an Email Stay connected with on your mobile. Guest guest
, On the question of shaping, yes, Life Lift does shaping or sculpting. One of my recent posts was about how extensive or to what degree it works. I have a very distended tummy (panas) that has gotten worse since a rapid weight gain/loss and it is affecting how all of my clothes fit or I should say don't fit. My question is how much will it do? No one knows that for sure. Each of us is different and our bodies respond to what we do as we also age coupled with how we feed them etc. This is what I dicovered back in 2002. I got a mind/muscle connection as I did the breaths. I lost several inches as well as weight. I did feel better as well as my blood sugar going down although I cannot say that was direct result from Life Lift breathing I suspect I had benefit born of that breathing. When I quit it all started coming back. I had a terrible upset in my world and I spiraled down for a long time after that event. I am now working at returning to what I KNOW WORKS. For me, I cannot do the type of exercise or even walking that a lot of folks do so I was thrilled when I found the side effects of doing the Life Lift breathing. Rashelle told me she has even taught her breathing to people who are in bed and in wheel chairs effectively. I know that Rashelle talks in her videos about how she has sculpted her waist area and the benefits of the face/feet reflexology. I've not heard experiences of anyones cardiac response specificly to Life Lift. As I recall the major thing that the arobeic breathing does is burn the fat and tensing the muscle group causes the target area to burn and sculpt most in the tensed muscle group area. I hope this helps. I'm sure there will be other responses and when Rashelle has more free time I'm sure she will address your questions with more authority and a life time of experience of working with Life Lift; seeing and experiencing them herself as well as the public at large. Guest guest
Viriginia , I wonder if you could do the reflexology on your hands instead of your feet ? And great post by the way. Guest guest
The programme has an artificial intelligence. It works with you and your intelligence. When it says there is a problem it can mean either that you need to re-calibrate the person you are treating, or that you are too tired/not in tune with the artificial intelligence of the programme. This usually happens to me when I am over-tired. If the client is over-tired they often go to sleep while being treated. If the client subconsciously does not want to be treated then the alarm usually activates. Best wishes Sue
Guest guest
Please allow me to add to your questions... 1. When attempting to TEST an individual a message came up stating "Unable to test continue with therapies." ??? Hopefully someone can explain this 2. I also had an individual during the Calibration phase that I was unable to Calibrate the Geopathic Stresses - the program refused. Advised to clear the Temporal Anomalies. When the calibration was completed the read out on the top left was 6 lines of "Temporal Anomalies Corrected" repeated over and over across the page. ??? The Matrix page was off the wall from any of the previous sessions with this individual...Anyone know what and why??jadespring2003 <jadespring2003@...> wrote: l. the other day as I was logging into the program, a sign came upthat said, "Aritifical Intelligence has adapted to the program." Guest guest
I recommend patients never use straws because they tend to drink to much at once, and the increased air they are taking in can cause the bloating and distention of the pouch which is very painful. Some patients can use straws and drink carbonated beverages after surgery without any problem, so if they can tolerate it then I do not see any harm. Dumping syndrome does not occur in Band patients because there is no change in the anatomy of the intestines. This is why I explain to patients that they can tolerate the foods that would cause this after RNYGB and it can potentially slow down their weight loss. > > Hi All, > > Questions 1: what is the recommendation for straws for post op gastric > bypass and Lap band? Guest guest
-- stay away from the Laser Surgery Institute in Florida -- if it's at all affiliated with Dr. Bonati. Laser surgery for the spine is a big hype. The arthroscopic -- micro surgical techniques are the way to go and don't involve the use of a laser. The laser does not have the power to cut through bone and other tissues that are involved. My wife saw Dr. Bonati for severe spinal stenosis and we found out later that he over treated her with minimal results our local neurosurgeon and traumatic brain surgeon Ross took one look at the MRI and could understand what he had done but pinpointed the problem and relieved it bilaterally with one very small incision with great success. Guest guest
Hi , E mail your audiologist to get the info on how to connect the coil cable to the processor. Because I think it just plugs in, and you don't need to turn the cable at all. But I haven't worn one in a while. Best to let the experts guide you on that. The brick for the dry and store has a section that is pink when it's good, and goes to blue or grey when it's not. I think. Best idea is to change it every 6 months. The entire brick does not change color. I have 2 questions: 1. What color is the brick in the Dry & Store when it is time to change it? 2. Where do I attach the coil cable to the 3G & what direction do I turn it on? It is a refrurbished 3G I have not used in a while & I am blind. Guest guest
, I meant to look at my 3G for this but had to find it first. LOL After the battery cover is removed, you can detach and re attach the coil cable, just goes one way. The magnet does not screw in as its the style that requires removing the cover. This is a job I would leave to the audi because the two screws that hold the cover are even smaller than fleas. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* Never lend your car to anyone to whom you have given birth . --Erma Bombeck & Dreamer Doll ke7nwn E-mail- rclark0276@... Guest guest
- I can help with the first question, but not the second, unfortunately. The brick I use is covered in plastic, and has a circle on the front that changes color. When it is white it is time to change the brick. I hope someone can help you with the 2nd question. If you still need help I can ask the people on the Nucleus Forum as there are several people on there who still use the 3G. Best of luck!  ________________________________ From: <wdywms@...> Sent: Wed, November 18, 2009 2:18:44 PM Subject: 2 questions  I have 2 questions: 1.
