Guest guest
Dr Bob, Friday (Sydney, Australia here). No problems sleeping, never did before or after LDN. I use to have bad quality sleep, but the quantity was always there. Before LDN, woke up lethargic. I did a sleep study years ago and was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea AND Restless Leg Syndrome. I have snored all my adult life - whether i be overweight or not. I use a wheelchair, have no pain whatsoever, no lesions in the brain, just at T6 and alittle atrophy at that level. Since beginning LDN 4.5mg, no RLS, no " intent tremors " when ever I move to transfer/stand, reach things etc, and I was told by partner I never snore anymore. What a bonus. I wake up feeling well rested and energised for the day. Alot of other improvements too, and I keep a journal. I think you can help us in another way now that you have joined our group. Could you, as a General Practitioner, write a statement about your opinion of LDN being safe and another option for MS and other conditions you may have prescribed it for? This letter would help us prove to other doctors that it is OK to prescribe it in low dose. Sort of like a recommendation of LDN to other doctors to prescribe it. So far in Sydney, we have just a few doctors prescribing LDN and 2 neurologists I know of. But its just not discussed and known in its low dose by the majority of doctors and neuros and many sufferers are battling to get a prescription. Thanks for being a pioneer and living up to your Oath as a care giver. You a legend Bob.
