Guest guest Posted June 2, 2004 Report Share Posted June 2, 2004 If you do take Insosine, be sure to get your UA level checked. The studies underway try and raise the level to 8 mg/dl; that's the top of the normal range. I did raise my UA level; took me about 3 months of taking 2,000 mg /day (2 in the morning, 2 at night). Once there, I dropped to 1,000 mg/day to stay there. You don't want your UA levels to get too high. If you go this route, do it with your doctor's help.
