Dear Dee Dom Who

Congratulations! So happy to know that you have passed the national

and are now a CPhT! I too am happy that you FOUND this site. Can you

share with us how you DID find it?

This site is not widely known or advertised, so it is very

interesting to me how people DO find it. Basically I promote it on

any other tech site that will allow me to. I depend mostly upon the

referal from others. This site makes no money and sells nothing. But

we do give away knowledge and information freely and with our heart.

So if you can spread the word to others struggling students and ptcb

candidates let them know that we are here to serve.

YOU are the BEST! YOU make this forum what it is! YOU and all who

read, lurk and participate by asking questions and those who respond

with accurate information.

Good morning, Jeanetta

I can't remember how I found this group it was either through

a 'search' or maybe from the 'Delphi Forums'. But ...I sure am glad

I found ya!!! Just like today, I did a 'search' and found that you

have another one ...JEANNETTA'S FREE CPhT CE. Thanks, my membership

is now 'pending'. I am looking forward to becoming a member there

also.

I have told many about this site & certainly hope they listen to me.

It has been my main source of study. I lurked through every post

(past & present) each morning to get info. Thanks so much for being

there.

I did my first CE yesterday at RXSCHOOL.COM, I want to get these 20

hours out of the way (PRONTO!!). Thanks, Jeanetta & EveryOne else

that was involved.

Dear deedumwho,

Thank you for sharing with us your search stuff.

Well I am a bit embarrassed. I have begun the 'sketch' of my Free Ce

site about 6 months or more ago. My nephew is supposed to be helping

me but he has cooled his jets right now. I had a couple of people

writing CE, but one is not CPhT and the other has been ill. So my ETA

of Feb 2003 moved to April 2003 and now it is indefinite.

If anyone would like to make a CE contributution please contact me

asap privately.

The major problem is 'grading' at this time and servicing the masses.

But I promise you that the site will be up and running " some day " , I

just do not know when. I can not believe that you even found the site

in the search engine, because I purposefully did not list it. I

figured I would list it when it was ready. It is still very much

under construction. Keep your fingers crossed.

Dear Deedomwho,

Everyone at this site will be the FIRST to know when my Free CE site

gets up and running.

I am seeking CE authors or want to be's who have experience or

expertise in a given area of pharmacy. I will be mentoring and

editing each CE. For some this will not take long, for others it

will be a long process to learn how to develop a CE of quality and

validity.

Anyone interested please contact me PERSONALLY, not via post.

This is an opportunity for professional growth and recognition that I

offer my mentoring and experience. YOU must have experience in what

ever subject that you develop the CE on AND you MUST already be a

CPhT. I must also have an up to date resume. Your employment, data

etc WILL be personally checked out by me. I will not place any CE on

my site that does not meet quality product, does not have up to date

information, is not validated, is not original or is plagiarized, is

not edited. I will have other editors besides myself in areas that I

have no experience in. Youmust follow or will be instructed by me to

follow or how to follow a specific OUTLINE or Format and referencing

material and quoting material.

Therefore each of you can look forward to quality free CE " some day " .

If you feel that you want to " grow " professionally, or you want to

expand your horizons, or you want to 'give back' to this board what

you have received, or to offer such a service to other pharmacy tech

sisters and brothers, this is the place to start!!!!

This is not an organization there are no dues or fees, but hard work

is required to help.

Subjects that I am looking for? The same subjects that

a) you have experience in and can share, and the same subjects

that you and other techs are interested in.

This is hoepfully the last post that I will place on this board

regarding my FREE CE site until I have it up and running, current ETA

is 3 months, but if my nephew does not help me out soon it could be

longer. He is 16 yrs old in high school and works, an d Eagle Scout

who is on probation for working on computers, cars and girls (not

sure if it is in that order or not!) ignoring his home/scholl work.

But he has not held up all of his end of the bargain yet in my CE

site deal! He stands to gain much money from me, if he develops the

program that I need. He had a prototype a few months back, but

planned to perfect it. So as soon as he finishes school this semester

this June , he is going to " make a move on this or get of the pot " as

my 89 yr old mother would say!! (Moma Rose, is 89 TODAY 5-6-03!! -

for those of you who know her and met her in Las Vegas last year! She

still asks about BARRY (her date), (Toga Man),Chatty Patty and

Everyone else at my celebratory dinner that night ). By the way

Photos turned out great!

Not sure how I got off on that subject!

But while I did.....Anyone going to NPTA this year!? Want to meet up

for dinner on Saturday or Dot Party on Monday night?? Let me know in

post or in private email.
