Delmar book-thumbs up from me!

Nika and all,

I had the 1999 version when I studied last year. Having worked only in a retail

setting, I knew nothing about hosptial setting. This book (along with this

study group) assisted me in my passing the exam. The book has the

definitions/explanations of each area of study then a work section along with

many tests in the back to use. The math required for the hospital setting was

daunting at first, but the Delmar book and a finer look that told me it was all

" glorified algebra " helped me. The one thing lacking in the Delmar 1999 version

is material on law. I would give it a thumbs up! I'm sure the newer version

has updated lists of drugs with brand/generic names as well.

Thank you Therese for your opinion.

I have started reading and studying it already and I like it, but

again this is the only book I know so far.

I will be taking a course soon, so time will tell how helpful this

book really is for me.

Thanks again.

NiKa.
