Anyone in Texas?

Hello, folks!

We have four bills before the Texas Legislature that all are badly

written,

and need to be defeated.  While complete exclusivity for homeopathy is

not

necessarily there, for the reasons outlined below, we need to

vigorously

oppose this bill.  Please read the following e-mail.

If you know anyone who does any form of nutritional counseling,

herbology,

homeopathy, or whatever alternative approach, please forward this to

them.

Please ask them to call, write, e-mail and phone the members of both

the

Texas House and Senate Health committees to request that all of these

bills

be voted down.  It's much easier to stop a bad bill than to get it

vetoed,

or worse, repealed once it is signed into law.

Consider suggesting a health freedom act, instead, which would open CAM

practitioners in Texas to open practice, based upon their scope of

education

and experience.

Thanks so much,

Hi ,

I left you a phone message, but thought I would send

you a quick email as well. First of all, we are going

to be discussing the Bill on the KPFT 90.1 'GoVegan'

show tomorrow morning at 11:30, if you have time to

listen  or call in to make your opinion heard.

Please have all your list of people, especially

clients who are willing to help, write and call their

Senator and also, email and call Jane , the

Senate Health Committee Chair  and Diane Delisi the

House Health Committee Chair.

Point 1.)I oppose SB 989 and 1209. For the House - HB

44 and 191.

Point 2.) My right to choose who I go to for advice

about nutrition will be limited.

Point 3.)There are many diverse practices and schools

of nutrition. Many jobs will be compromised because of

these Bills.

Point 4.) The Bills are monopoly creating, which is

un-constitutional.

The fact that the CCNs have put homeopathy in their

list of products does not give them exclusivity, but,

it does project a competence in the school of

medicine, which I find highly objectionable.

Hope this helps,

Gretchen
