Guest guest Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 Greetings, I was an avid church goer and still wish I could be. I told my pastor I am allergic to church. Part of the problem is they built a new auditorium about 5 years ago for over 2,000 people. I have gradually been pulling out of my church commitments and to date only attend church when I am scheduled to sing. And because of all the microphone, electronic equipment, etc. I have to stand at a certain part of the stage using a certain microphone. Sadly enough, I think that will be coming to an end soon. I have found that I tolerate Thursday night practice better than Sunday mornings and I think that is because there are people in the auditorium on Sundays. Increasing the electromagnetic energy with their presence and gadgets and then all their chemicals. Cause everyone is freshly showered, shaved and the hair is a freshly gelled and sprayed. I do react badly to some people. This is going to sound very strange and it's not a Freudian thing, but I can have bad reactions around my husband. It has been hard for him not to take personally. But what I think might be the case is..... We all have different biochemistry. I think that what and how my husband detoxes effects me. The times I have a bad reaction to my husband is after he has been sweating. He must detox something through his sweat that makes me ill. So, now if he sweats he comes straight inside and into the shower - no stopping for chatting. Also, sometimes when he goes outside (sometimes for as little as 5 minutes) and just walks to my daughter's house next door when he returns I feel ill. At these times I wonder if his biochemistry reacts to some of the outdoor allergens he is bringing inside and causes me to react. I have started to have some of these effects from my 8 year old grandson as well on a milder level. Has anyone heard of anything like that before?
