Your welcome Anne,

Its amazing what some of us and our ancestors suffered back when and we did the best that we could... My own Grandmother, complained of aches and pains her whole life, finally the Dr. wouldn't listen anymore :o( He gave her sugar pills to keep her quiet, but that didn't work either... When she was in her late 50's, she was very ill that day and laid around on the couch... Grapa went into get her up for supper and he was helping her to stand when she fell to the floor never to walk again :o( She was paralyzed from that day forward... Diagnosis??? Never knew, it was undiagnosed... She lived in a nursing home till 1968 when she passed away...

Hubby and I was married in 1967, she wanted to see our wedding so bad, but it was impossible to transport back then, we didn't even have ambulances here in our area, if you had to be taken to the hospital, the funeral director would bring the hearse to transport you... (yuck) Anyway, to include her in on the wedding, we asked the lady at the nursing home if we could come after the wedding, which would be after visiting hours as we were married at 8pm... They allowed it, so after the service and all the picture taking, we headed to the next town to see my Grama with All the wedding party in tow :o) When we went into this small (remade private home) nursing home, all the patients were still up waiting for us to come :o) It Really brightened everyone there that they got to see a wedding... I was so Glad that we did that one small thing to make her and her friends happy... (Everyone at the reception wasn't very happy as they were waiting on us, but oh well!!!) My Grama passed away 4 months later...

People can be so cruel as to how they talk about others disabilities :o( Caring about others needs to be a Class in School!!! Parents are seeming to forget to teach that one to them!

I'm sorry your son had to suffer so from his, that's sad how others treated him :o(

We can only hope that there are cures for Everything someday!!! Wouldn't that be Wonderful!!!

((( Loving Hugs )))

Helen

Thanks for that post Helen!

Although too late for my son who died in 1972, I know more than at that time

His doctor thought that it was hereditary, remembering nothing in my family and nothing in Fred's family we were at a loss

..

He suffered so much, only wanted to go out at night, once when I told him that we were going out in the boat to fish,he declined, I insisted, the folks down at the Marina stared and got me angry. I told a couple who were making disgusting faces at the sight 'that it is not infectious, he has a disability, we all have them to one extent or another so look at yourselves', and my son and I got into the boat and went fishing

Lots of incidents like this one, eventually he got over that fear and had long sleeved shirts to hide it.

He used dreadful creams that stunk of tar, took special baths, to no avail. As we lived on the L I> Sound, he found out salt water helped, no cure but less irritation, (incidentally salt water in the sea helps poison ivy rashes)

Now I realize my father must have had it. His hands got such terrible cracks on them, which prevented him from swimming or any water sports etc.

Now I see one form of psoriasis can evidence itself in this form. Who knew that at the time, in the 60's

Thank you again Helen, now I know that some day a cure can be found

Anne

Hi Olivia:

Hi Olivia:

Before you start pouring Kombucha all over your head, make sure that

it is psoriasis. My wife was diagnosed with psoriasis (sores all over

her back). The treatment she received by her doctor failed, because

the sores were caused by neuropathy. Psoriasis is very often

misdiagnosed. Are you by any chance a diabetic? If you do have

psoriasis, there are 2 Kombucha formulations available and necessary.

One is a Kombucha liniment for external use and the other formulation

is for internal use (consumption). Amongst other Kombucha

formulations, I produce both of them and I also instruct people how to

make their own.

If you need more information or help, you can contact me direct or

through this list.

My Best Regards,

Benno Sternig

Spirulina (blue/greem algae), only just discovered seaweed myself,

seems to be a tremendous immune system booster just like Kombucha and

probiotic things in general. I have found the 2 in combination very

helpful against menopausal symptoms.

It's worth reading up about spirulina.

VCO has also helped my psoriasis too. I used to have psoriasis on my

fingernails (vertical red/black lines on the nails). Using VCO as a hand and

nail cream has cured it completely and my nails look very healthy.

Hey all

Happy New Year! I know that this site is mainly for Cancer discussion, and I

learn greatly from it. My Mother has Psoriasis on her scalp and other small

areas that is disturbing her. She truly beleieves, as I do that there is an

underlying cause. Of course the doctors offer not much help. Does anyone know

anything about the causes and what she can do?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Joanne,

You came to the right mailing list.

I'm putting the finishing touches on my January 2008 eczema / psoriasis

cure protocol.

Here is a link to the introductory simple eczema / psoriasis cure.

The key is RAW FOOD.

Your mother must be sold on RAW FOOD.

I estimate RAW FOOD is 80% of the solution.

Good skill,

This has to do with having had chicken pox as a child. When the immune

system is compromised, this is when the psoriasis rears its ugly head.

The trick is to build up the immune system and I believe there are certain

herbs and homeopathic remedies that can help.

Best,

Dear Edwin,

Not everyone can eat a mostly raw food diet due to various conditions they

have like spastic colon, or people with only part of their stomach or intestines

removed, etc etc. For these people, a suppliment is needed to help with the

problem. Raw foods definitely increases the ability of the body to fight

disease but there are other means of getting this such as green drinks like

wheat

grass and chlorella etc etc.

Joanne

I have long wondered about this as well. Mine didn't start until after I had my

treatments but now I can't stop itching. My neck is a defined rash that evan

breaks open and bleeds. My scalp drives me crazy by the end of the day--it is

usually better after I wash it. My ears also flake and itch. I go to the Dr

and they give me steriod creams which help but it comes right back as soon as I

stop using it. I truely believe mine is caused by some kind of hormone

imbalance. I have a pituitary tumor which I had radiation for and now I am

loosing pituitary function and am having to supplement different hormone.

My guessing right now is that I am not on a high enough estrogen replacement

dose or my thyroid is shutting down. I go see the Dr in February and will be

discussing it with him then.

Things I do to help are use lots of lotion--Aveeno works great in my opinion.

When my ears get bad I use the steriod cream that the ENT gave me. For my scalp

I use head and shoulders all the time and when it get to really itching I do a

treatment of Neutrogena T-gel shampoo. Also when my neck/upper chest (my worse

problem area) get bad I use cortaid cream. It has a small amount of

hydorcortisone in it but also soothing lotion.

Hope this helps and I am interested in what others have to say. I know you

where concerned this wasn't about cancer but I didn't have this problem until

after I was diagnoised so for me at least it is related in my opinion.

Hi Joanne,

Have you tried Oil of Oregano? Evening Primrose oil

and fish oil are also beneficial. I would also

eliminate all processed foods, wheat products and

dairy from the diet. Be careful with Vitamin C. It

can aggravate Psoriasis.

Take care,

Those who say they can't do raw foods are correct.

They will remain diseased and go from one treatment to another and get

into more complicated and varied methods, and still FAIL, remain

borderline, psoriasis occurring sometimes and sometimes not, psoriasis

" under control " . Pathetic.

Those who say they can do raw foods are correct.

They become cured permanently and achieve greater level of healths than

ever in their lives.

I understand people's resistance to raw food. Simply because they have

never tried it.

And that is why they FAIL to get well. You never try it. Then it is a

100% failure rate.

Raw food is the fuel of humans.

If humans came out of the factory with a manual, it would say: " Runs

best on raw food, primarily fruits and fruit like vegetables, sunshine,

fresh air, proper rest and relaxation... 120 years healthy. Warranty

void when fed cooked food, rocks, chemicals and DRUGS. "

Raw food is at least 80% of the cure.

There are too many success stories on raw food, whether done personally,

achieved through raw food coaching, or be it living in sanitariums.

The worst resistance to raw food is because the MASS MEDIA promotes RAW

VEGANISM as the raw food lifestyle.

RAW VEGANISM is tastes AWFUL and COMPLICATED.

Most raw veggies taste awful by themselves raw.

So food processors are used.

I've tried both raw veganism, and raw fruitarian.

Raw fruitarian wins hands down.

RAW FRUITARIAN is yummy.

Raw Fruitarian is easy.

Raw Fruitarian, mono meals, one fruit in a meal is convenient.

Raw Fruitarian is instinctive, you go to the market and pick the fruit

that appeals to you.

Raw Fruitarian needs no preparation, no tools, usually just bare hands.

Raw fruitarianism is true human food.

Many raw fruitarians are 75% fruit, then a few vegetables that are

technically fruits, then a few raw nuts you shell yourself just before

eating.

Some add raw eggs, or raw fish sashimi maybe once or twice a week.

This is natural, easy raw foodism: fruitarianism.

See http://www.fruitarian.com

See http://www.rawschool.com

Again raw foodism should be DELICIOUS, convenient, easy, instinctive,

natural.

If your idea is raw foodism tastes awful, you went down the path of raw

veganism instead of raw fruitarianism.

See my Eczema / Psoriasis Cure Protocol for those who want PERMANENT CURE.

http://www.eczemacure.info/article/articleview/242/1/11/

Permanent cure means permanent change in lifestyle and habits.

Happy New Year!

I don't know anything about the gel or any topical because the problem is not principally of the skin. I have seen some amazing recovery from psoriasis with - coconut oil 2-3 tablespoons a day (in a smoothie, on bread, crackers, in soup, whatever) clear up the skin within 10 days and not return. You might want to start with a de-tox some OPC-3 and better food intake

That has proven, in this office, to be an EXCELLENT method of clearing this obnoxious condition. We have also had good results with the daily consumption of liquid minerals as well.
