, I was going to PT and I was told that a stationary bike does not stregthen the core muscles which we need to be strong. The bike will not hurt but is not what we need. I now use a trainer who used to be a chiro. I do half an hour of weight baring exc. and ex, to stabelize my core. After 1/2 hr. I am usually beat for the day. The next day I am fine. When he works my legs some days, I do have spasms. I think Tom Is correct in saying when a muscle is worked to the max it will spasm. I usually have them in my upper butt and sometimes need to take a muscle relaxer in the evening to stop the spasm. This is why they thought I had Sciatica for 6 yrs. You may feel you are regressing but in the long run it will be worth it.

Paris!!! oulala. Loved it when I went for my 40th. Thank goodness I was walking fine then. Since you know it well , you can change your speed and still enjoy. You are still in mourning over your diagnosis. Try not to take anything just yet. It took me almost 2 yrs to accept my condition . After Paris, rethink it again. OK? Give it some time. I am so jealous!! Kiki
