Guest guest
Hi , I guess I didn't word that quite right. Mature is probably not the right word. I am not a coconut oil producer, so I would be the wrong person to ask questions regarding the making of coconut oil. However, what I meant was that a " cold-process " centrifuge system is mass producing the oil in a relatively short period of time to get good oil. On the other hand, we have the Philippine ANH producers who are using lots of time and less mechanical means (or force), to produce good oil. It reminds me of the time put into the making of fine wine, that is all. I am looking forward to trying some of this oil to see how this gentler, time intensive approach will affect the final product, since so far, I have heard good reviews. Lil k8teeth <stonesigns@...> wrote: Hi Lil, I was wondering about the comment you made below...are you saying that oil gained by centrifuge has to be aged before use ? Im thinking of " trying " to make small batches of 2 litres for my own use because I cant get ANH,VCO over here in Australia.Ive never done it before, but Im going to try using the fermentation/chiller method. The reason I ask is that if I gain the oil by ANH,must I allow time for it to 'mature' before use?Ive never heard of this. So,any input on this would be appreciated. Regards . " We can hardly wait to start trying some of this ANH Philippine oil in the future. Not because there has been no heat applied so much, but because of the time and natural ageing and strict quality control. It is like fine wine. Good wine takes time, there is no machine that replaces this. " __________________________________________________
