Guest guest Posted January 7, 2000 Report Share Posted January 7, 2000 I was just curious... what is LPA's PR process when such degrading commercials like that of the Linen & Things comes on? I realize that our PR representatives, whether it's Cara (or in the past) have made statements in the past when we found a media element discriminatory towards LP's. But just how much? What I'm hoping for - is that LPA will have an immediate response to EVERY media portrayal of LP's. If a TV talk show was to bring LP's on in a positive light, let them know! If a commercial, Stern, etc. was to show LP's negatively, let them know that too. If we keep banging them over the head constantly with our noise, they will listen. Many of you have suggested that LPA needs to seriously expand and I agree. We need to let LPA reach to the next level of awareness, otherwise our organization is not going to get very far.
