Guest guest
Can coconut be effective for inflammation of the digestive tract? I have this but I think the coconut hurts it. Many things do. ~E

Guest guest
The best thing I know of for healing the digestive tract is colostrum. youcan get it at most health food stores.I order it in powder form from http://excellentthings.com/ she also sells capsules.I add it to protein shakes or apple sauce etc. Coconut oil will be helpful in soothing the intestinal inflamation. It kills yeast and bacteria that can cause the problem. Guest guest
Emma, *Hope this isn't considered to be off topic* Have you been tested for gluten intolerance? You might, also, try adding fermented or cultured foods to your diet (such as kefir, yogurt, or cultured vegetables). I've found taking a few tablespoons of whey (the liquid drained from live-cultured yogurt) will help with any digestive upset. -Patty > > Can coconut be effective for inflammation of the digestive tract? Guest guest
I had some major stomach issues until I went through a 7 day coconut oil fast. See Coconut Cures by Bruce Fife for details. He is also doing a study on the fast so you might want to email him first and tell him your symptoms and then email him afterwards with your experience. He might also have a questionaire of sorts to fill out to. I don't remember. Jeanne
