Hi Laurel:

We don't want to ingest, apply, recommend, or even imply anything that is not in the best interest of everyone concerned. Since we finally chose to start making our own Colloidal Silver for its widely reported benefits over several decades, I am concerned about your being leery for its safety. We've been extremely conscious of what people are putting in and on their bodies (as our signature block indicates) so I'd like to pick your mind or the minds of others with a couple of (best intended) questions: When ever anyone expresses a very strong opinion on anything, I tend to suspect an agenda and wonder if you had any such red flags pop up when the "several people" warned you. And of course unless people have lived in caves for the past 10 years they have been made aware that aluminum has horrific effects on all animals so should be avoided in everything from personal care product to cooking utensils. That makes me wonder how much is the doctor's "recommended dosage".

Warmest regards,

Ted

Bismuth subsalicate, better know as Pepto Bismo, is the remedy Dr. Sherry recommends. It has a high rate of cure and is available in any drugstore. Because it is cheap, readily available and nonprescription, there is very little research devoted to it. The antibiotic studies include it in their drugs because researchers know it increases cure rates(Noach, Henschel). Unfortunately, there is aluminum in it, so do not go over her recommended dosage. Dosage is 2 caplets four times a day, taken with meals and before bedtime(know that it does turn the stool black, so don't be alarmed). Also, deglycyrrized licorice(DGL), is an alternative you could try or in conjunction. It is one of the best remedies for healing indigestion, ulcers, and gastritis. Take two to three SF734( by Thorne) four times a day for four to eight weeks, or (2) Gastromet(by Ecological Formulas), which also contains a healing amount of DGL(250mg)and other optimizing ingredients like cabbage juice(very healing to intestinal tract and know to heal ulcers-)Beware of antacids and H2 Blockers as they can act like fertilizers for pylori. Treating and ridding pylori has even cured certain cancers. After killing of the pylori I would recommend a good probiotic such as Flora Source or Flora Biotic. These can be ordered by calling N.E.E.D.S. in Syracuse, NY at 1-800-634-1380. You can even get the Dr. book through them. No, I am not connected to this order company in any way except as a good customer.LaurelIn a message dated 6/18/03 3:18:22 AM Eastern Daylight Time, ellyfr@... writes:
