Guest guest
1. Fill a large box with sand or rice and put in there your lip balm tubes. They will stand perfectly. So you have avoid danger No. 1. 2. Pour your base in a plastic bag (kind of zip lock bags). Be careful that you don't burn yourself! Cut one edge. Attention: You need only a very small whole. Fill your tubes. It needs a bit of training until you know what's the best temperature to fill the tubes. That's not my idea (Was it Tamara's?) but it works great for me! Guest guest
Heidi, When I made my lip balm I poured it into a ziplock bag and clip a tiny hole in one bottom corner and filled the tubes. It was a lot messy. Guest guest
I put a rubber band around a dozen or so. It makes them all stand up straight, and do the same for my bath salt tubes. Then I use a turkey baster to fill the tubes. HTH Janm
Guest guest
Heidi, Here's a thought. I recently purchased an American Harvest Jerky Works kit for making trout jerky. I use the attachment that makes flat strips but it also comes with two tube shaped attachments for making beef sticks. They are different sizes and the smaller of the two fits easily into the end of a chap stick tube. The unit itself is like a plastic caulking gun that comes apart for easy cleaning. I would guess that each filling of the gun would fill 10 to 20 tubes, maybe more. I got mine at Walmart and it was pretty cheap. The trout jerky was really good, but picking out all of the bones was a pain. Good luck,

What I do is scrape it into a shot glass and set this in a bowl of warm water. In a few minutes it is melted and I chug it down.
Guest guest
My favorite way to get my coconut oil is by putting a tablespoon ful into my hot Chai tea.
