Guest guest
, Thanks for the tips. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. No, I didn't think my children would swallow capsules. I'm not that stupid! I also would never ask them to. We are vegan and most capsules are made of gelatin which is an animal product. I thought that perhaps the capsules would have a concentrated form of co that I could use in their foods, making it less volume to get down their throats. I usually break open capsules of whatever supplement I need to give them and put the contents into drinks or on top of foods or in oatmeal, etc. Where did you find flavorless co? Mine is expeller pressed from Spectrum Naturals and still has a strong odor and flavor. I would love to have a flavorless co for the children! t Wilkins <montemomma2002@...> wrote: You think children will swallow capsules? Not my kids.I do have a few tricks. Hot choclate with coconut oil in it is wonderful. Of corse Im also a raw milk fan so hot means just warm so as to not to dammage the good enzymes.and stevia sweetens quite well.. I also have replaced almost all our cooking oils with expeller pressed coconut oil It is odor free and flavorless .I also use olive oil and butter to cook with. I don't know enough ways to get it into our food and my co is hard at room temperature here. I am trying to get it into my cooking routines but I am still learning how to do it. Also, I cannot regulate how much my children get because sometimes they refuse to eat what I cook...and I don't want to give them cookies and baked goods just to get them to eat it. t Mel wrote: Hi s, As I mentioned yesterday, you are quite right. We have a phrase for it in England, " they are having a laugh " . Anyone from the UK will know what I mean......Why anybody buys the capsules, I will never know. Guest guest
Thank you so much . I love that link. Do you like the unrefined vco made by centrifugal force, or the vco made using the Philippine fermentation process? Also, have you tried any of their other coconut products with any success? I am so excited! It seems they have a lot to help my children get this oil in their diet! Thanks again soooo much! t Wilkins <montemomma2002@...> wrote: I order the expeller pressed from www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com IN NC t wrote: , Thanks for the tips.
