Guest guest
Thanks Angie; what a good idea. I just thought it may be fun to post one or two messeges. Guest guest
Does anyone who is going to conference have a have a web cam?? If the hotel has a hookup, you could broadcast from Vegas to a web site. Just a thought. -Brent Re: Laptop Thanks Angie; what a good idea. I just thought it may be fun to post one or two messeges. Guest guest
Mark, Call brainmaster and Bill or Tom will walk you through whatever needs to be done. I had some difficulties and Bill was very helpful and got me up and running. Renfroe

One (easy) experiment you could try... I'm assuming that your laptop runs Microsoft Windows... Download the free 15-day trial of the " Quantum Byte " software: http://www.quantumproducts.com/quantumbytefreedownload/ See if you feel any different than usual when using your laptop with this software activated. Guest guest
I tried to download the Quantum Byte to my Mac ibook G4, but it asked me to choose the application to open it. Anyone know what to do about this? The Quantum Byte web page says it works with OX 10.2. I have OX 10.4.5. nn -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: " Marc " <marc@...>
Guest guest
Hi nne, I'm Mac user too and have had positive results with the Quantum Byte software (on PC/Win machines at work and older Macs at home). However, as of October 2005 (I phoned the company and spoke with their rep), Quantum Products had NOT yet developed a Quantum Byte version for OS 10.4. To the best of my recollection, the download process is very straightforward when it's the appropriate version for your OS, but you can also special-order the software on a CD if you prefer. I've pasted an excerpt from my original post about this, below. Cara Cara posted on October 21, 2005: " Margy at Quantum Products has answered questions about the hard-to-find Mac versions of the Quantum Byte software. (Mac users can special-order Quantum Byte for OS 9 or OS 10.2.x They are still working on Quantum Byte for the most current Mac OS; this is why a trial version is not available for download on their website.) Cara may have more updated information about this than I, but the free download on that site only runs on Windows. They used to have a Mac download, but I think the application stopped working after Apple issued 10.3, so they pulled it. Presumably, at some point in the future they will add it again. Unfortunately, Apple has been a moving target with its operating system for years, and the changes from the Classic OS to OS X to Intel-chips isn't really something that all software makers can keep up with.
