Guest guest
Dear QXers: As many of you know, I've been going thru some huge health issues but I wanted to share with you a pearl of wisdom that was given to me the other nite when I went to see a chiropractor I used to go to last year. When I told him my situation, he opened up to me for the first time ever. He said four years ago he became very ill, went blind for several years and couldn't read (something he loved to do), had panic attacks, didn't sleep for two years and developed lymphoma. His marriage also broke up and he went into isolation. Recently his best friend moved to Florida. The reason he opens his office at l p.m. is because he sleeps in in the mornings. This man who has been thru the mill told me that the only way things could start to turn around was for him to just accept where he was, to stop measuring from where he USED TO BE. He had to forget about who he USED TO BE and focus on who was in the moment. Besides adjusting my lower back, I thanked him for the precious wisdom and knew that I had walked away with invaluable advice that we can all use when we're going thru the valley of change. And trust me, we all get our chance. Blessings and thanks for all your good wishes and prayers, is Rotella
