Guest guest
Maybe Bruce could answer this question? I was sharing info about coconut oils on one of my dogs lists and of course you can imagine some of the negative responses. I know that refined vegetable oils commonly found in the grocery store such as Canola Oil and Saflower oil have neglibible nutrients in them due to the refining process. Can you please share which nutrients, vitamins, minerals are in coconut beyond the negligible nutrients any oil may have (or added back in after the refining process) oil so I can explain what they are to the folks on my other lists who think I am crazy consuming coconut oil and feeding it to my dogs! Some of the folks on my dogs lists are veterinarians and nutritionists and ask a lot of in depth questions whenever any one shares info on alternatives to traditional thinking and traditional medicine and if I could point them to some reliable references regarding the nutrients in VCO it would be of great help. >>> I am not sure where your information regarding the " vitamins " plural that vegetable oils contains has come from. As far as I know ( and have read) the only vitamin that they contain in anything other than negligible amounts is vitamin E>>>
